	Our Nursery Department serves families with children from birth through kindergarten age and is offered during all worship services. We provide a safe and clean environment for little ones. A strict policy is enforced throughout the entire Nursery Department to ensure your child's safety. Children are taught in a child-centered creative atmosphere designed to produce a pleasing learning experience. Parents can have the confidence of knowing that their little one will be provided a loving and safe environment while they are attending the adult service.
Celebration is for children in grades 1 through 6 and is offered during all worship services. Each Sunday morning, Godly truths and principles from the Bible are taught on a child's level of understanding through the means of characters, drama, object lessons, puppetry, music and videos. Your child will be challenged to not be "a spectator," but to get involved in ministry, to understand the importance of serving in the House of God as well as serving others, and using their talents to bring glory to God. Church is not BORING, church is FUN! Each week trained and caring adults teach Biblical principles and their applications through an interactive curriculum. Special activities and/or outings are scheduled throughout the year. Activities include our annual Halloween alternative (Hallelujah Night), pizza and gym night, and skating-just to name a few. Through these social events, your child can make new friends and develop lasting friendships, but most of all, have a warm sense of belonging to their church family. 	Impact for Teens is offered for Junior and Senior High School students (grades 7 - 12). Impact meets every Wednesday night to experience God's awesome life-changing presence. Through interactive worship, friendships, videos, relevant teachings and drama we discover God's plan for our daily lives. As we connect with God, we also connect with each other. We find that by the Spirit of God we are a part of a big family. Our FWC Florence campus is blessed with it's own Youth Building, complete with air hockey, foosball, a pool table. The youth can also enjoy basketball, volleyball, and many other games outdoors. You will have a great place to meet your friends or find new ones. We provide many avenues for you to discover your gifts and use those abilities to reach your generation. We have a awesome time at IMPACT! Make Impact your destination!
An usher is a pastor or minister's helper who is called to the ministry of HELPS. An usher is a minister, called of God and equipped with skills, talents, wisdom, and the knowledge necessary to be a servant to everyone in the local church. People need ushering, as seen in I Corinthians 14:40 "Let all things be done decently and in order." The usher's role is a vital and important one. Quite often there are times when individuals come to Family Worship Center and the usher is the only one they have any direct contact with. To this person the usher is "the church," therefore, the impression set forth by that usher is a lasting one that could determine whether or not the individual will form a connection to the church and the pastor. The usher becomes a public relations representative for his church and his pastor. A person must feel wanted, comfortable, and important in order to be open to receive. One of the usher's chief responsibilities is to see that everyone has this feeling.
	In the greeters ministry, there are many areas in which a person can give their support and help to Pastor Steve. In this case, being a Greeter is a ministry in which one can effectively serve God and receive blessings of no limit. Being a Greeter is a love ministry in which we greet others with the agape love (God Kind). Receiving a person at the door with an attitude of love can minister to both the giver and receiver. Shaking a person's hand indicates welcome, but adding the true love of God can develop more than that. It can change a person's attitude whereby he or she can receive the Word of God in a more powerful and effective way.
FWC Florence is blessed to have one of the best music ministries in the state of South Carolina. Each week men and women from all walks of life come together to praise and worship God. The music ministry consists of our sanctuary, youth, and children's bands, as well as our sanctuary, youth and children's choirs. We have several other groups and ensembles. Also, we have several major choir, media, and drama productions.
